Ruttle and Neltner Florist in Covington, Kentucky is the most creative florist I have come across. There seems to be no limit to what they can do. I had heard about their reputation and sat down with Doris Poore about an idea to include them in The Art of Food at the Carnegie, which was held on March 5th 2010. I gave her and her staff full creative freedom to do what ever they wished for this special exhibition. What came next was a complete show stopping display of plant and food sculptures that totally impressed the 700 attendees. Everyone was awed by the uniqueness and sheer beauty of these creations that left you wondering, how did they think of that? As a gallery director I always look for something special in an artist's work that sets them apart. I can honestly say you will get something special from Ruttle and Neltner.
